DOG DAYZ
When it comes to advertising, there’s always another season and another reason to advertise. Early summer is for fans – and as the middle of summer approaches the staff of Clark Communications is shifting our attention to one of our most effective programs: “Dog Dayz.” This campaign creates a bond with shoppers by commiserating about the heat. The paw print graphic elements draw attention and provide a great platform to sell off many of your slow moving and discontinued items. We even have special “paw print” hang tags available to mark specially tagged items.

Shape Up Your Website

The web provides a perfect platform for providing information to customers. Think of your website as THE LIGHTING CHANNEL for your local market. Here are a few ideas that we’ve come up with for our lighting showroom customers.

Casablanca FansCreate your own tab insert and put it on your website. Think about it. Now you can show your entire selection of fans on line all summer long. And next fall if you run a tab from a lighting manufacturer, you can put that up on your website as well. (See fan flyer sample pages)

Specials – If you have a database on your website, you can designate specific items and price points.

Inspiration Gallery – Show your customer that you understand great lighting techniques by showing them samples. We’ve included photo galleries on our websites since the beginning and we’ve seen that over 40% of visitors view these pages.

Clark Communications Group Lighting Video Lighting Videos – The web is quickly moving to online videos. Put your commercials on your website as well as the ALA series of videos. (View sample video page)

Media Center – This is a new concept, but it makes sense. Include bios and contact information for owners and managers, as well as a sheet on the services you provide and articles that are written about your showroom.

Decorative Lighting Database – If you don’t have a database, get one! A database of product allows customers to view tens of thousands of products on your site – piquing their interest and motivating them to come into your store. There are multiple providers in the market and the cost averages about $500 per month. As customers become more web oriented in gathering information, a decorative lighting database is becoming essential for driving traffic. (Product database sample)
