So Your Going To
Vegas - Right?

Dear Friends in the Lighting Business:
So you’re going to Vegas – right? As they say in Vermont – Why wouldn’t cha! It’s a fun town, lots of beautiful hotels, glamorous nights on the town, casinos, the works!
But here’s the inside scoop. These days, there’s no such thing as business as usual. Everything is changing. Yellow Pages are all but gone, newspapers work only about half as well as they used to, and all of a sudden everyone is glued to their phones – texting, checking their emails, sending messages, browsing websites. Never again will I need to ask for directions – now I just “drop a pin” with my iPhone, type in the address and a map appears. My iPhone has gotten me out of some pretty dicey situations.
But what does that all mean to you? It means that email marketing is here to stay. It means that video marketing is coming on strong. It means that if you want your store to be seen, you’ve got to go where the people are. Did you know you can advertise on Facebook? Do you know what to do with all those bi-national leads that Larry Lauck is sending you from ALA?
Come to Vegas – stop by our associate booth and tell us all the area codes in and around your lighting store. If you are an ALA bi-national supporter, I will email you all the leads in your area codes that ALA has acquired during 2010. And that’s just for starters. I’ll also grade your web site and show you what you need to do to create a strong email gathering and sending program that is targeted to your best customers.
This stuff isn’t rocket science – but it’s not dull either. Come to Las Vegas and let’s talk. I’ll make it worth your while. Come to think of it, you might want to call to make an appointment – you’re not the only person receiving this email.
